Mormon Prom - The After Pictures

Here is the after pictures of the prom. This is the first year that our stake put on such a production. Before Christmas of last year, I was approached by a member of the stake presidency to be the chair of designing for the prom.  I thought he was crazy for asking me, I really didn't think I could do it. But I have to say I am grateful for this opportunity to be working with some real stellar people. I think I had way too much fun.

The theme the youth asked for was "A Night In Italy"
It has been a fun project. Below is the efforts of many talented people, so enjoy.

It was a huge undertaking and now I am sleeping some again!! It was a wonderful experience for me.We had 300 kids showed up, everyone had a great time. It was the most successful dance the stake had EVER!!
From this experience, I think the hardest part was probably working without a committee, so I never know how many people I can get when I need a big crew to help me. But thankfully, I have some really dependable friends. Thank you, Thank you!!
My husband and kids also had 2 nights of chicken nuggets in the last week when I was gone all the time. I didn't think I saw my kids the last 2 Saturdays before the prom. But I am not complaining, I really had a lot of fun.
I was just so pleased that everything was a success. And I feel really proud for how everything turned out!

That is incredible. I bet you were laying awake at night dreaming this all up in that creative brain of yours. You are quite the woman. I bet they won't have one in the future quite so impressive unless they ask you again:) Way to go!

Fantastic! Do you want to do the wedding receptions for Audrey and Alyssa? Seriously, you should keep the decor and rent them out for Mormon weddings!
