The Last of the Sage-isms
Sage went on a rampage through her sisters' room, emptied the contents of their special treasures and ate their carefully hidden sour ice breakers and gum, uncapped all their special markers and left them on the floor to dry.
Finding their room a disaster, the older sisters teamed up to confront Sage, who light-heartedly ignored their repeated demand for justice. I held her down so she couldn't move and asked if indeed she had done as described. She replied with a slight smirk: "No, not me. A ghost did it."
In the car the other day, Sage kicked Jade on a whim. Jade yelled out in annoyance: "Sage just kicked me for no reason."
I turned around and sternly asked Sage to apologize. Following is our conversation:
Sage: Who was it that said I kicked her?
Me: Who do you think? Probably the person whom you kicked.
Sage: Well, (a slight pause)that would be Jade.(after another pause) It wasn't me. It was a ghost.
Memory flashed in my mind of Andrew telling me more than once that Sage reminds him of the woman he married. HONESTLY, I have no idea what personality traits he is referring to.

Let me know how that goes. I know what you mean about spoiling the baby. We've got some of our own issues with Jacob. I'm glad to hear your going to be firm about stopping this behavior. I'm gearing up to do the same. Good luck!
i'd like to know how it goes too! i'll miss the 'sage-isms' though, they always make me laugh :)
Good luck with that! She a spit-fire, and kids that age love to tell lies. I read the other day that it's a stage they all go through. She'll grow out of it, but they did say in the article to make sure you call them on the carpet about it every time they lie.
P.S. Your English is amazing. You write so well. It's amazing to me the English is really you second language.
If I didn't believe her mother, I would have a hard time believing anything bad about Sage, My Princess. Good luck!
Good luck! It's hard to be stern when they are stinkin' cute! But all worth it when they are a happy and functional child and later, adult.
I think that same "ghost" visits us!
Alyssa just started kicking and hitting Audrey for no reason (boredom). I've been really babying her, and I was just thinking I need to stop. For me the hardest thing to let go of is all the cuddling and carrying around like an infant. She turns 3 in a few weeks, guess it's time.
Hey mom, I'm gonna say "Good Luck-NOT!" cuz I like the funny blogs about Sage.
(Not trying 2 ruin ur happy thoughts or anything, OR allow her to mess up my room!)
--Jade :0)
This is hysterical...I expect you will lose the battle of not reporting any more Sageisms :)
